A female flight attendant who has served 65 years

This story is very interesting since Bette Nash who is 86 years young recently has been recognized as the oldest flight attendant who started her career flying the friendly skies when back in 1957 on the New York-Boston-Washington shuttle since she can come home to Boston to take care of her son who has special needs.
Her son is being taken care of by Bette herself even though my belief is that Bette has a caretaker to take care of him when she is one of the clock for American Airlines.
Bette has no plans to step down from her work as a flight attendant anytime soon since passengers enjoy her presence during their time on the flights that she works on.

@Deepizzaguy - The European companies impose a limit for flight attendants on an airplane. They can continue working at the airport, but inside a plane they want young people who are quick to help in case of an accident.

I agree with you since in case of an accident involving anyone aboard an airplane, chances of a doctor being aboard can be remote.

Bette must really love her work to stay in her profession for a long time since that what many persons who live a long life have gone on record of saying that they love what they do for a living.

I know what you mean since Bette is probably in good physical condition working on her job at age 86.

A salute to Bette. What an outstanding woman! The airline company also deserves a praise to keep Bette. I think the airline company here would have asked her to retire.

I agree with you that American Airlines is lucky to have her as an employee.
