While interacting here in myLot, I'm taking some chances to check my Facebook account too. And I've found this one about mutilating the new 1000 Philippine peso polymer banknote bill.
I don't know if you this kind of law in your country also but I don't know if this is good for some people of the Philippines.
As stated in the post:
"What you do not know will not harm you? Think again. Be ready to pay P 20,000 if you staple this bank note. Did you notice something?
I would like you to be informed so you do not lose P 20k due to your ignorance.
IGNORANCE OF THE LAW EXCUSES NO ONE."
Do you have this kind of law in your country?

Yes, we have that kind of law in the US, too. Unless you mutilate a lot of money, though, they ignore the law. (People are always putting pennies (1 cent or 1/100 of $1) through a machine and making something else from the penny. I have a box full of pennies I've put through machines to have them changed.)
Some people mutilate other US coins or bills for souvenirs, too.
Photo is not mine.

Great to know that. We do have some coins here in our house the smallest is 5 cents in Philippine peso and just burying in the jar because no stores accepting those cents anymore. Only banks accepting that. However, I'm not going to the bank a lot. I transact my banking online only not physically so I can't deposit my collection of coins here.

@luisga814 Oh, I see. We still use small coins in the stores buying things. And I don't like to go to the bank physically, but do once a month, if I need to.

@DaddyEvil Since, the conversion of Philippine peso to US dollar is not that good in our end, coins has not even have a value in our end. You can even see coins on the roads, grasses. Here in our country, if you're going to give a one-peso coin to a 5 year old niece or even younger, they'll just say, what to buy for this. As per checking in currency converter. 1 US dollar is an equivalent to Php 55.07. So, if 1 cent in US dollar is 1/100, how much will be in our end? As per checking, it's only Php 0.55, I can't even buy a candy for this because 1 candy is equivalent to 1 peso.

Yes. I'm sure you do have like that in your country but I do also know that most of your people respect the value of your bank notes.

This is our first bank note made of polymer. Manufacturer is from Australia. I don't have this one yet. My Php1000 is still made of paper.

@luisga814 No, it is not real, the Swiss population is rich, but they have a great consideration of the money, more of many who have less.

WoW! Thank you for sharing this information.
My mother has the habit of stapling bank notes.
I showed this to her.
And I'm sure the next time he will avoid doing it again.
