Strange weather

This morning it was only in the 70’s and cloudy, but the forcast said it was going to get sunny and hotter, precipitation was zero percent.
However when I was taking some broken glass to the trash dumpster it was sprinkling!
And when I went back out in a half an hour it was still!
Then when I took my grandson out about 20 minutes later it had stopped and the sun was coming out.

That is the funny thing about the weather that the television or radio will predict rain during the rain and then the prediction fails to happen and vice versa.

@Deepizzaguy That's right! Mother Nature is not God. I never really understood who she is because God controls EVERYTHING!!!!!!

You probably should check and see where the closest forecast station is to where you live. The closest one to where I live is still almost 40 miles away and it's rarely correct.
We had less than a 10% chance of rain according to the forecast but it sprinkled all night and half the day. It's still cloudy even though the weather channel says it's bright and sunny here. (Well, it's dark now, but you understand what I mean.)

@DaddyEvil Yep, it's not complicated, it's the way it is I use the Weather Channel APP and one other (forgot the name) and usually they are both different. It's true checking yourself is right.

@dfollin Exactly!
I use three different sites to check for my "local" weather, then average between the three. (Sometimes, sticking my head out my front door and making a guess based on what I see is still the best method.
In this day and age, we shouldn't be forced to do that.
)
I check my phone and see what the weather app on it says is happening/will happen. (It's AccuWeather.) Then I pull up and pull up the "local" tab on it and input my zip code. Then I check weatherchannel.com online and input my zip code. Out of the three of them, The Weather Channel can have the most up-to-date forecasts but I like the long-range forecasts shown on weather.gov the best.
If that all sounds complicated, I apologize. I've been frustrated so much on all three sites that it's ridiculous!
Good luck figuring out your own way of telling what's going to happen, weather-wise. It can't be any worse than what the trained meteorologists do. And you might be surprised at how often you're guesses are "more" correct than theirs are!
