With flying colors too

My 4 grandchildren have made it with academic honors on their studies recently in their recognition day.
I have mine too during my college days 50 years ago when I achieved this academic excellence as I studied my several courses in our community chartered college.
I was the silver medalist in my Secretarial Science course, Gold star medalist in Reserved Officer's Training Corps (ROTC), Highest Academic Proficiency in Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Top Academic Awardee in my Commerce Course.
Not to forget, my Iwag Award as an outstanding community and campus journalist conferred by the Office of Media Affairs being the Editor-in-Chief of The College Voice.
Now I see from my grandchildren on how they do excell on their studies as I had made during my primal college days.
Goodluck grandkids... More power.

That is a great lineage in Academic and overall excellence.
My parents too belong to Academic line, and they admire academic excellence over other things.
At times, they somehow value Degrees over others.
But well, that's life!

That's only on the sideline. I have worked as a bank employee, teacher and school principal. I retired from school principal 5 years ago.
