Was Anyone Surprised?

Today, of all days, there was yet another shooting. This one is in Illinois at a parade. They are talking on the news that someone should have called in with any kind of suspicious activity. That makes me laugh. How many times have the FBI or local police get information that could have saved lives and ignored it? So this 18-20 year old person got in, did the shooting, and got out and no one saw anything? Wonder why this happened in Island Park?

@RubyHawk ........I used to be that way too. Some years ago I started turning the tv on for company I guess and have it on all day sometimes. I think it is part of my mood disorder.

I wonder if parents and teachers are seeing and following up on unusual behaviors by their children and students? We are dropping the ball somewhere.

I don't think there are more shootings these days, but they are covered more.
And I'm sure that someone saw it.

When I see the news, it's all anyone talks about. I o turned on the t.v. to find something to listen to, and the news was talking about yet another shooting, this one in Florida (where I live). It's like a running theme I swear.
