Once Again We are Trying for a Home Loan

My husband’s grandfather’s house just came on the market. He vowed that if it ever were available for purchase he would try to buy it.
Of course the asking price is way too high. But my realtor said not to let that deter us from trying for the loan. We may be able to talk them down to a price that we can afford and they will be happy with.
I’m now waiting for my husband to let me know the outcome with the bank.
Positive vibes would be appreciated!

My husband did prequalify for a loan. We go to look at the house on Saturday.

@MarshaMusselman If we had been able to buy it from a Family I’m sure that we would’ve gotten a good price offered to us. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. We still have to make an offer on the house. We went to look at it today and I do like it so it is my husband.

@ElusiveButterfly we bought a house my uncle built and lived in with his family but only his family ever owned it so we got it at a good price.
