Side effects of my booster shot

Last July 4th here in the Philippines. After my youngest son did his 2nd dose of Pfizer I've decided to have my 1st booster also. At first, there's no indication of any side effects. Then on the middle of the night, I feel muscle cramp on the left part of my arm in which the dose has been initiated. Good thing, I'm on a vacation leave last Monday. Then, I must report for a work on Tuesday night but I'm feeling dizzy and also some muscle cramps still. So, I decided to call my supervisor to file leave of absence. And after explaining that I did a screenshot of my vaccination card of the booster, he approved my leave of absence. And I'm hoping so that I can report for work this Wednesday night. I'm feeling well right now although there's still muscle cramp.
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night to all of you.

It's already July 7th here in the Philippines. Although, I've reported for work last night but I'm still experiencing muscle cramp in my left arm.

@RubyHawk Honestly, as of the moment, my arm is okay compare to day 1. I've already reported for work 2 consecutive nights.

I believe those are the typical side effects you may experience after receiving the shot. I believe taking one paracetamol pill will help. I experienced the same side effects after receiving an AztraZeneca Shot. The pain in my left arm did last for a few days to a week before it went away.

@luisga814 I don't remember for sure, but I believe the discomfort lasted for about a week. However, the feverish sensation only lasted a day. It's a good thing it happened on a Friday so I could relax over the weekend and return to work on Monday with only my left arm hurting.

@rsa101 I wish, I've done that on a Friday so that I have enough time to recover.

2nd dose vaccine is not equivalent to 1st booster shot.

Vaccinations always give me side-effects. I don't like getting them.
I'm glad you were able to put in for time off work.

Yes. I've contacted my supervisor one hour and 15 minutes early. Out policy should be you need to contact your supervisor more than an hour before your official work shift. If you're going to contact in less than an hour, your request will not be granted and consider as absence without pay.

I wasn't injected with booster yet, don't know whether it will bring side-effect.However,now the damage from virus is not as serious as before, the symptom is just like a cold.the infected patient don't have to go hospital, taking some medicine by themselves will cure virus. In this case,i am hesitating about booster,i think it's not necessary to receive booster dose.

Side effect may happen to certain persons. My neighbors took the booster as well, and they said nothing happens to them. They feel the same as before.

Thankfully, I had no side effects from my booster shot. You've reminded me, though, that I need to get a second shot for my shingles vaccine.

Vaccines should not be mandatory.
The problem with the government is they restrict unvaccinated people.
Just imagine if there are 10 new variants of covid19 are you going to take 10 different vaccine shots also?
What if there is 100 new variant of covid19 viruses are you willing to take 100 different vaccine shots also?
It's like we are the experimental rats? LOL
