A summer time meal

I think any time watermelon is involved, it is a summer meal.
We don't get watermelon all that often because...they are a pain to cut, but when we do...oh my...best thing ever. I always forget how great watermelon is.
We also paired it with fried chicken, which was great as well!
It was such a simple, summer time meal.
I am currently working on my mother's birthday gift. I have already gotten most of it planned out, it is going to be a little animation at the beginning that I think she will get a kick out of. It is involving my stuffed animals Mikey and Pistachio, who she adores as well because we are all family!
This might actually go a lot faster than I thought, which is really good!
I have already set for my entire week for this, and I think that is more than enough time. Yey!

I love watermelon, but I can’t eat it anymore because of those little white seeds and the effect they have on my gut.

I've about given up on watermelon. It never tastes ripe to me or it's too ripe.

If it has a yellow ground spot that means it is good, that is all I really know how to check it. I can't hear the difference when you knock on them.
