The violet hibiscus give feel of lavender / myLot

The violet hibiscus grown in the pots in my balcony are lovely. They create a feel that there is plantation of lavender. The colour of the hibiscus are almost similar like that of lavender. The hibiscus flower is used to make soaps and oils in Bengal like rangajoba oil used on hair.

I used to have these beautiful hibiscus flowers growing in my yard. I planted them but I didn’t know they were used to make soap and oils.

thanks Ruby yes the petals of the hibisus flowers are crushed for the oil and soap. They are very good herbal products

thanks Kharla yes hibiscus is used to decorate the Kali temples in bengal and also used for soap oil and powder

Am so much used to the red specie but this looks beautiful. This plant has a lot of nutritional value, we use it as soup when I was a kid but today we have the drink that has a lot of functions.
