Recently we watched this movie.
"The Blue Umbrella" which came out in 2005.
This was an adaptation from a story of the same name by multiple award winning author Ruskin Bond.
More details about the book :

The movie has some additional characters and names changed.
Yet broadly, the story as well as characters match the ones in the book.
Actor Pankaj Kapur is good in his role though not at his very best.
The child artiste playing Binia is also good.
Overall a well made movie, although a bit low on the entertainment factor and more in the serious cinema or an Art movie.
So if you want a light hearted serious cinema movie, this is for you!
Else if you like James Bond/Mission Impossible kind of a stuff, Vin Diesel or typical Bollywood movie masala or melodrama, just forget !!

It's a serious cinema movie, which get more awards.
A bit boring in between but overall wirth watching.
I read the book story plot later and there was a deviation between the book and the movie.

India Today is a big magazine in India.
I wonder this show has any resemblance to the magazine!

They would perhaps be people in 40 plus. Younger folks might be more in the Service sectors in the bigger cities like Sydney, Melbourne etc.

Sounds like an action movie. I have watched one Indian movie something like The Bachelor and I enjoyed it a lot.

Not an action movie but a kids focused emotional movie.
The ending produces mixed feeling of sadness as well as happiness.
