Close To Giving Up (MyLot Exclusive #1018)

Ivana Trump died today. She was the ex-wife of Ex-"President" and Biggest Loser Ever, Donny Trump. It's sad that she died but she had something big going for her. Having been married to Donny means that this was by far not the worst day of her life. Dying was a walk in the park compared to being married to him. The big mystery surrounding her death is the question of who wrote Donny's statement about it. It was exactly what you would expect a normal person to say and that means Donny didn't write it. Of course, it was posted on Truth Social, right above yet another appeal for money, so Donny did have a hand in it. Just not the one that did the writing. But today's big story is that Texas is suing the Biden Administration for the right to kill women. You can read all about it in the article linked below. I really don't have much to add except this: I am close to giving up. I am on the verge of saying, "Republicans, have fun and do your worst. You've earned it. If Americans are so fed up with Democrats that you can take the next two elections...Heck, if you can even keep the House and Senate close this November and keep the state governments you already control...brutalize them to your heart's content because that's obviously what they want." I'm no fan of Democrats, either, but I'm less of a fan of Republicans---And if we can get rid of the Republicans already, we can start getting rid of the Dems or turn them into a party we can live with. But that's never going to happen as long as we have the two parties. Oh, there's another important article. The one about Indiana going after the doctor that performed the abortion on the 10-year-old girl from Ohio. I didn't link it but you can find it very easily. ************** The Washington Post Texas sues Biden administration for requiring abortions in medical emergencies Katie Shepherd - 5h ago

I say let the red states secede from the US. They can turn their states into something worthy of Handmaid's Tale, go bankrupt, shoot each other with their AR-15, and force women to have unwanted babies that the state will refuse to provide support for. . . even if it could which it wouldn't be able to since red states take more from the US government than they provide. Let them live in the awful backward societies that they so desperately want.

I think that wouldn't be a bad thing, either.

Business conditions are better in red states. Taxes are lower in red states. Poverty levels are lower in red states. Jobs opportunities are better in red states. Wealth variances are better in red states. Services are better in red states... And the list goes on. Please do secede. Those of us who actually want to live good, productive lives would love for you to get the hell out of our way.

Red states are at the top of the poverty charts.

I'm so glad I don't live there. I just hope the UK doesn't follow along, like it does in so many cases...
