Just home from a walk-in dental run. My jaw was aching, from 1-5, 1 being a little, at 3 Pressed my teeth to find which one was in trouble, my right bottom last teeth was sore to about a 1. Luckily, my dental clinic, Kokua Kalihi Valley, Comprehensive Family Service, dental clinic takes walk-in, from 9-1pm!!! Just saw the admissions people, closing for lunch. I called earlier, explained my situation, and let them know I'll be by before 1, today. I had to wait till after lunch to see a dentist. I did a little mylotting while waiting. X-rays done, doctor tested my teeth, checked my jaw, saw no trouble. Checked out my dentures, it was ok. I mentioned my glasses, and shown my dentist thy indentation on my head. She said, that could be the reason for my pain. I gave the dentist my glasses, she exclaimed, yes these very tight and to fix it as soon as I can. Should anything persist after glasses fix come in. What a relief, my glasses, was all that is the cause of my pain! Came prepared with acetominaphine too. Glad it wasn't anything seriously wrong! Got a weather miracle too... cloudy & overcast day today is! Only a little 30 second sprinkle is all that happened!

Yes, and upon calling Walmart's Vision center, expert said it does cause it and even gives headaches. They'll adjust glasses for free if I sign disclaimer if anything happens.

This sounds really strange, but it could be possible if your eyeglasses pressure a nerve that goes to the jaw.

@oahuwriter - I know very well that too tight (or too loose) eyeglasses can cause severe headaches and pain behind the ears. I never read about toothache.

That's crazy I never heard of anything like that. It is just because your glasses were tight?

So tight, that it indented my scalp. My dentist saw it, she said get it fixed. I never knew either, glasses, could do that! I'm wearing my spare no now, no pain. Expert say glasses does that, if too tight. Going in very near future, to get mine fixed. The Historical South Surf, hit Oahu, my island home, with 20-40 mile high surf! So, I'll check before I go out, for I'm going near ocean for glasses fix.
