I was so excited when a Trader Joe's store opened about 20 minutes from here several years ago. I passed it several times a week on my way to/from the gym and would stop every other week or so. Then COVID hit and I stopped going to that gym so I haven't been to TJ's in forever.
I was talking to my mother last week and she said she was going to TJ's. I asked her to see if they had any of their Coconut Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate and to grab a couple of bottles for me if they did. I saw her yesterday at my niece's birthday party. She had a bag with 3 bottles of the cold brew concentrate. Hooray!
I am sitting here enjoying a big glass of coconut cold brew as I type. The 16 fluid ounce bottle is supposed to make 4 12-ounce cups of coffee. The plastic cup I'm using is very large so I used like 3/4 of the bottle just for this one serving.
It is a little strong so I added some extra cream and another packet of stevia to the mix after I had consumed some of it and there was room in the glass.
I haven't been into coffee for the past several months but this coconut cold brew is definitely reminding me that I like coffee.

I'm not a big coconut fan. I'll eat a Mounds or an Almond Joy candy bar; but not much more. I'm glad your mom bought you what you wanted. Enjoy!

Trader Joe's. One of those stores with too high prices and overrated to the core. Give me an Aldi anyday—same stuff. Better price. Although to be fair, even though Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi, it's not the same one that owns the Aldi stores, but the same family.

two brothers own the 2 different companies.
I find Trader Joe's prices to be very reasonable for what they offer. My mother raves about Aldi but I read something about having to bring your own bags (well we all do now here in NJ) and also having to bag in a separate area and the whole thing sounds too intimidating to me. I'll stick to what I know.

@NJChicaa I think I said it was the same family or did I miss something there?
The two companies are Aldi Sud and Aldi Nord.
Yes. Aldi you have to bring your own bags and pack them in a separate area. But it is no big deal. You also pay a quarter to get a cart but get it back when you return your cart. I find that Aldi has some of the best prices, but of course it always depends on what you buy.
As to sticking to what you know, I get it. But sometimes you have to expand your horizons a bit as well. At one time you did not know Trader Joe's and now you love it, so you may be instead missing out on a wonderful opportunity to discover something you might like better.
