The entire country of Bhutan is covered by himalaya mountains. In Paro, at a height of 7000 feet, the red rice plantations are surrounded by vegetable farms. The vegetables include potatoes, sweet potatoes and cabbage. In India the white rice is more popular. In Bhutan we found that the majority of population thrive on red rice may be due to a number of food values.
