I did not get here at all

I was at my sister's all day yesterday. It is exhausting for me right now because she has a lot of anxiety and cannot focus. She is depressed because she is losing her eyesight rapidly. And scared. And talks constantly and repetitively.
I am glad I can be paid to provide some care for her.
Another time when she was having this kind of depression her doctor had her take a certain antidepressant and it did help her begin to manage her constant talking, repetitive and fictionalized behavior. She has told me she will ask the doctor about that this next week. It exhausts me, but I put up with it and help redirect her when possible, because she is my sister.
There are lots of little things she needs, and they all add up. She also needs to be around family more. Pretty much that will be me.
I was supposed to see my doctor today for a regular check up, but she is ill. I need to reschedule. Before it gets too hot I will go outside and mow. I will be back.
I run the air conditioner in the office. I need to set up two beds in here for my grandsons when they visit next week.
Lots of things to do. See you later.
Oh, and I have yogurt incubating right now.

@RubyHawk It is hard to understand families that do not treat each other well.

You are truly special for taking care of your sister. She definitely needs to be put on meds if they help her. They will help her and you. I'm sorry that she's suffering the way that she is.

She will be fine. It just takes time. Her kids are not able to come as often as she needs and neither is my brother. I have worked in nursing homes and I have seen people who had no family, so at least I can help.

She has many doctors and will see them when she can. It will be okay, but transitioning to having some care giving is hard for her.

She gets frustrated with herself because she knows what she is doing.

She would do the same for me, and she worries about and is concerned for me.
