So much for never getting another dog. This house is getting older and not sure we have the patience as we once did. Mostly, its just to hard when they pass away. They give you on average 10 plus great years, but last one is a doozy. Watching them get cancer or lose their back legs. Its hard to watch and then think you are going to have to put down your best friend down soon. This was different. Neighbor lady across street had puppies and they have been in neighborhood for a long time too, but we never spoke, not one day in over a decade. Her and her daughter come over with three puppies. She tells my sister, I just love the way you care for your dogs. I am trying to find these three little girls homes to a good family. Sister invites them in chat a bit, and one by one bring Kai and Brooklyn out. Kai did not care at first. Sniff your butt, sniff your butt, sniff your butt. My house, thanks for visiting. Brooklyn comes out and she a social butterfly, hey little dudes, lets play. We knew Brooklyn be good was worried about Kai, because she a true guard dog. Sister tells lady let me think on it. Let you know by tomorrow. A hour goes, tells my brother go get that one with tips of paws that are white. The lady tells my brother I thought you would be back. Kai, smart in her own ways. I can tell we have a new family member and I spayed, but I am officially calling this little girl my daughter. No, Brooklyn get away she is all mine.

Yeah, so not do it. We all forget how much work puppies are. Even if you know they are a lot of work, times that by 100. I can't even imagine two puppies at once.

@rebelann Indeed and this a girl dog. Boy puppies especially if they not clipped are so bad. I caught her the other day chewing on a the end of a sharp steak knife. I told my sister look at what your puppy chewed on. That could have been deadly for her. Hears something gets her up all crazy like they do and stabs herself. Then the next day, sister caught her chewing on a dirty quarter. I told my sister. I know. Delta was chewing on that steak knife because she stabbed a fool so she could steal their quarter. My sister actually thought that was funny.

I do sad to say and puppy not that bad, sister and brother complaining how puppy wakes them up so early is driving me mad. That's what puppies do and I warned you. Then they blame it on me. Well, if you would never move, puppy would never wake up so early. BS. I sleep sometime early too and guess what hear both my sister brother entertaining the puppy because she woke them up while I did not move.

I love dogs but never had them as pets. I once had an aquarium.

They are fun, so much energy though, they live short, but amazing how much energy they have in such a short span.. Aquariums are cool, I like the pretty fishies.
