What a cool way to keep your cool

The Library got this inflatable water slide for the 100 year celebration.
It was a definite attraction for kids and families on a hot summer afternoon.
The librarian announced winners of various prizes, including an Ipad for the most reading.
It is becoming such a welcoming place. It is cool on hot summer days. It is a safe place for kids to come and chill. From what I hear older folks like to hang out there as well.
A library helps make a town complete.

We have three libraries within a short distance of us. I used to work in a library; and I think they are the BEST places to go. Reading is so important.

@GardenGerty Library sales are the best place to buy books by the bag load! They are so much less than purchasing the books at a retail level.

They closed off the street for the evening. Across the way is the local Veteran's Memorial Park.

This is also quite popular in Hong Kong. Kids love that. They closed some due to the pandemic.
