I am always surprised to find how different we women react to things. I was reading an article about heart attacks and how women get certain symptoms. I found it interesting and wanted to share it.
It seems that one is being out of breath with no exertion of any kind. Pain in the neck, arms, even teeth, or back. Typically on the left side of the body. The shoulder blades may also have sudden pain.
Other symptoms of a heart attack in women are upset stomach, nausea, and even vomiting. Women are twice as apt to have this symptom than men. Unless there is also chest pain involved women may just figure it was caused by something they ate.
Fatigue, sleep problems, flu-like symptoms, dizziness, and lightheadedness can all be symptoms of a heart attack. If you suddenly break out in a cold sweat and you are sure you are not going through menopause.
This pain associated with a heart attack in women is confined to the upper body, and not likely to travel below the belly button.
The reason these things happen is that there may be a lack of blood in the coronary artery. Also, may be due to a blockage of the blood vessels leading to the heart.

I wonder why the symptoms of a heart attack are different, for a woman. It must have something to do with certain hormones that aren't normally present in a man's body.

@kobesbuddy .......Yes, and I don't think they pay attention to their bodies like women do.
