Swallowtail Butterflies Make Great Therapy

Walked out to Dustin's garden again yesterday. And got this yellow Swallowtail butterfly photo. Made my day to see this beautiful butterfly. They are bigger than my hand. I also see black ones flying around. They really enjoy both butterfly bushes.
And the hummingbirds have arrived. Have not gotten quick enough to get photos of those yet. But soon I will.
My neck seems to be the worst pain for now. Maybe it is because he cut through all the muscles, tendons and nerves in my neck to get to my brain. Any movement hurts. Bending is a no-no. And you know most of what you have to do requires bending. Making a lot of adjustments. Oh well, this too shall pass.
Not sure what crazy Pelosi is trying to prove by going to Taiwan. I guess we need a war with China. Why not. And if Biden doesn't go home soon, not sure what the state of our country will be. Oh well. I will continue watching the butterflies and let the cards fall where they fall.
Just for those who think I voted for Trump (and there are many of you that do, maybe I didn't vote at all), it is really none of your business. Thought I would throw that in. Seems if you diss Biden or any of the White House yahoos, that makes you a Trumper. Not true. It makes you have common sense.
Photo is mine. Yellow Swallowtail from Dustin's garden. Now I will go back to enjoying Dustin's garden. There are also lots of blooms in the front garden to enjoy as well. The best kind of therapy in my opinion.

Dustins garden is the perfect escape with the beautiful butterflies and the hummingbirds. Sorry that you're still in pain and that your recovery is slower than you were probably hoping for.

Your Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly photo is beautiful, Dustin loves it, too! Your neck will heal up, it could take quite a while before the pain goes away. Ibuprofen works wonders, for Jay.
I don't discuss politics with other online, we all have separate views and perception.

You definitely need to be very careful when doing house routines.
Is there any scope for some temporary outside help?
The butterfly looks gorgeous.
With all the noise and din, war is not going to happen soon (over Taiwan) but future is unpredictable.
From the reports, it seems that Biden administration has a lot of challenges.
But well, there are a lot of adverse global factors especially Russia-Ukraine war.

I'm glad you are able to greet the beautiful visitors that come to Dustin's garden! How amazing this one is bigger than your hand (our butterflies, if any, are way smaller). Being around nature is so soothing . . . I hope it all helps to get you better faster. All the world seems worrisome these days.

@CarolDM I had an accident years ago that affected two of my vertebrae. I cannot do bending although there is no pain.

I’m glad you’re feeling better to come online for a few minutes, and to walk around outside for exercise (physically and, more importantly, emotionally).
I saw on the AP website that China fired some precision missiles to protest Pelosi’s visit.
You’re right, who you vote for is between you and that piece of paper in the ballot box. Nobody else. And, so everyone knows, there are more than two political parties in this country.

Thanks, I love this species. They are so big and so cool to watch. I have many videos and photos. I have always had the garden as therapy, just in a different way this year. It is healing now. Thanks to you so much. Thoughts are with you as well.

I can imagine your awesome experience with nature. That Swallow butterfly looks like a bright message of hope and grace have been with you and still coming your way. :-)
Good on yah, Carol! I mean, politics or no-politics-- I will still visit with you on myLot.
You are right, those current leaders in your country are destroying all the good and happiness your country once enjoyed 2 years ago. But I see that common sense is in dire need of seeing the light happening in the next 2 years and ahead. :-)

Dustin's garden has literally saved me many times. I can just stand there or sit on the bench and the butterflies and hummingbird show up. I know he is helping me. I believe that with all my heart. As for the political comment I made, I had just had it that day. Sometimes I have to say something.

So much better to watch butterflies in your garden than to worry about the crazies in Washington. I've never seen a butterfly so large and beautiful before. It's amazing.
