"Bocconcini de Nonno" which translates to grandpa's little treats. But to me these are boyfriend's treats. He went to the new little Italian shop round the corner and got these and some organic pasta ingredients. I liked it because I love almonds but my favourite Italian dessert would still be cannoli.

That I could really agree with it's amazing their cuisine. The opposite could be said with the British hahaha

That looks delicious! Are they commonly available near your place? I think we might have something similar here but may be named differently. Enjoy your Saturday!!

They aren't commonly available here it is coming from a special italian shop which is pretty pricey. Thank you. I had a good Saturday by the beach.

Those look like Amaretti di Saronno to me, they have almonds mixed in.

@flapiz "Bocconcini Nonno" is not very Italian, "Bocconcini del Nonno" would make more sense. Good I checked, the correct name is "Bocconcini del Nonno" and they are amaretti. I am glad I recognized them.

My son would get along well with you. He loves cannolis, and eats them every chance he gets.

@flapiz I have no idea which flavor he likes the most, because he devours any and all cannolis he comes into contact with.

How wonderful that you have an Italian shop so close to you where you can get these yummy treats! We don't have anything like this where I live, but I certainly wish we did!
