Google has a sense of humor/time really flies

Google had a laugh at my expense earlier when I decided to search "Old movies that are great for kids" when I was trying to find something older to watch with my son that I haven't already watched with him. We've been watching a lot of musicals and old classics and I wanted some more suggestions so I googled that and every single movie that popped up were movies from my childhood. Mostly 90s movies. When I think of old movies I think of the 30s-60s. Google does not see it the same way. I purposely avoided the term "Classic" because I knew that would net me a bunch of popular movies through all the different decades but despite my best effort I still got similar search results. I really don't feel like my childhood was that long ago but I guess it really was quite a while ago. I remember thinking the 60s was a long time ago in the 90s and I'll always apologize for thinking such a thing. As a child anyone more than five years older than you is old. You see things differently as an adult. It's amazing how fast ten years go by. I feel like I just celebrated my ten-year high school reunion and I'm only about three years from my twenty year reunion. It always amazes me how fast and slow the years can go by all at the same time. My dad always tells me he feels like I should still be a kid myself and I used to laugh when he said that but I'm really feeling that lately.

There's a pretty long list. Musicals we've watched a lot of Gene Kelly and Doris Day stuff although Doris Day's movies weren't all musicals but she sang a lot. We watched "The Pajama Game" which is a musical. We watched "Houseboat", "101 Dalmations", "The Glass Bottom Boat", "Do Not Disturb", "Sunday in New York", "Mary Poppins", "The Sound of Music"....the list is probably a mile long since we managed to watch a movie or two every night during summer. I can't even begin to list them all.

Mentally I feel like I'll always feel 20 even though I've never actually thought like a typical 20-year-old but I'll always mentally feel like my version of 20.

@celticeagle I am only 35 so 20 was only 15 years ago for me. I might feel differently if I were older.
