Garner police officer Warren Frey was at the right place at the right time late last month when he was doing paperwork at a local church when he answered an emergency call one mile away from a mother who needed his help to revive her 11 day old son who stopped breathing while he was with his mom and great grandmother coming home after his older brother celebrated his third birthday at Chuck E. Cheese in Raliegh. Haley Brooks who is the mother of the infant named Tobias McLean who was 11 days of age stopped breathing while in the company of his older brother, great grandmother and his mother. Officer Frey who himself is a dad admitted that his training in life saving skills came in handy when he gave Tobias chest rubs and back taps to revive him after at least 12 times. Officer Frey admitted that he was very happy to revive Tobias from nearly dying at a young age. Haley is very grateful that Officer Frey was able to save her son from death at such a young age at the same day that his older brother celebrated his third birthday. What could have been a sad birthday celebration turned out to be a happy day thanks to the efforts of a police officer who will simply say to person who call him a hero he was just his duty to serve and protect the persons in his community.

This is an amazing story. And this is why people should learn basic life support and CPR.

It should be a law that everyone learn first aid training so lives can be saved during an emergency,

Police officer admit that seeing children die under their watch is very heartbreaking since the moms would be very sad to lose a child.

it was very scary for the family that had to witness the infant suddenly stop breathing inside of the auto as they were going home from the birthday party.
