Hey everyone, hope all is well.
I will be going to Florida, just outside Tampa, for two weeks with some family members, in January. I very much am looking forward to this trip. I believe we will be driving there in either 2 or 3 days (more likely 3 days).
The last time I was in Florida was 19 years ago, in 2003, I went to Daytona Beach for about a week.
If anyone that frequently goes there or lives there has any advice on things to do/see, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My husband and I like going to either New Smyrna Beach Florida or Fernandina Beach. Both are on the East coast.

I've been to Fort Myers which is 2 hrs. south of Tampa. One thing you might enjoy is a boat tour of the Tampa/St Pete area. If you travel down toward my area Sanibel Island is a great place to visit. Many attractions and shops. I have taken a bike tour of the island, eaten at a couple of their fun restaurants, visited their wildlife zoo, and gone kayaking along the coastline. Pretty cool stuff!
