Preparing the fire place for cold weather coming up! / myLot

So today, I did clean some but next time it is going to be the finishing touch! Our cat " Leah " Loves to nap and sleep on the wood pile by the fireplace. Now the thing to do is to be sure that she can still have a special spot by the fireplace. " Leah is a year-old cat " she is good when she is good. She can have moments that, we want to strangle her but not often. Anyhow, the seasons keep turning and we have to get things done. I do have enough practice to burn wood in the winter to remember how to, even if I can get of it. But when you want to be warm...

Henry is seven years old and is the same way, but cats will be cats, so as long as he isn't harming himself, others, or my furniture, I'm good.

Yes. When the weather is cooler, she likes to climb on our lap more.

I live in a desert and if we get a real winter it's a shock to all of us long time residents, I can't remember the last time we actually had any kind of winter that lasted more than a couple days, not that I'm complaining as I don't like the cold.

That might be not bad at all. Here last year we were buried and cold. I did not like winter last year. Usually, it is cold and weeks after it defrosts and then cold again, it feels often like Spring on and off all through winter, but not last year.

Your cat Leah looks so cute, lovely. I know that there are moments we would strangle our cats, they are lucky not to be ugly animals.

Thank you dear! Her 4 first months was with her mother ( firal cat) so we rescued her from the animal that ate the rest of her siblings. I felt sorry for her so I let her in when I saw what had happened.
