Would You Get Plastic Surgery or Other Procedures?

There is no reason I would get plastic surgery except due to a car accident or something of that nature. I think natural beauty is nature's gift and no reason to change it.
I just read that a very popular model, Linda Evangelista, went through several sessions of CoolSculpting between 2015 and 2016. The technique is "fat freezing" and is marketed as a non-invasive alternative to liposuction.
This procedure left her both "permanently deformed" and "brutally disfigured". It left several areas of her body with protruding fatty tissue. This is called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia.
Linda Evangelista is a Canadian fashion model who was at the top of her career in the 1990s.
She did recently settle the CoolSculpting case for an undisclosed amount.
Would you get plastic surgery or other such procedures?

Well, not that kind... You know my eyes swell closed sometimes... The ophthalmologist we saw a few days ago recommended that I undergo blepharoplasty because he believes it will help me. (I don't like the idea of anyone cutting around my eyes
... We will be getting a second opinion on this next Friday.)
"During blepharoplasty, the surgeon cuts into the creases of the eyelids to trim sagging skin and muscle and remove excess fat. The surgeon rejoins the skin with tiny dissolving stitches. Blepharoplasty (BLEF-uh-roe-plas-tee) is a type of surgery that removes excess skin from the eyelids." Excerpt taken from:

@DaddyEvil We discover our cataracts before the doctors do. I once saw that my lenses were unclean and I washed them. Nothing happened so THEN I went to the ophtalmologist and he said I had cataracts. I could have waited more time to have surgery but did it immediatly. In my country they do it for free once they impair your vision too much but I did not wait for that. About the eyelid surgery, I´d ask for a second opinion and ask for these side effects.

I had that done a few years ago, not for beauty reason. But I would not tell anyone to do it unless the eyelids don´t let you see. That surgery (it was very well done in my case) leave the skin thinner and it itches. I feel I would need some cream all the time (which the doctor did not give me). Ask about how the skin is left. Scars don´t show at all but I would not have done it if I knew how my skin hurts now.

@marguicha Thank you for telling me. Pretty keeps insisting I NEED to get this done. I think the eye doctor we went to a few days ago is full of crap. He looked in my eyes for a minute and told me I had cataracts but when Pretty and I went in for eye exams in December last year, the optometrist never said a word about me having cataracts. So I'm supposed to believe cataracts developed from December to now? Large enough that someone glancing at my eyes can see them? I have my doubts.

I would first have to marry Bill Gates or someone as rich at this moment
Reconstructive surgery due to accidents or the like are not "plastic" surgery but more than that.

@marguicha .......I can see it if it is because of an injury not just for beauty reasons.

@celticeagle I agree. But in my country, when surgery is needed, the system pays for part of it. Not if it is just for beauty reasons.

@celticeagle Well I’m good-looking enough as it is so I’ll not be letting anyone mess with my magnificent body. But I’d never be tempted anyway - we’ve all seen the disasters and we all know that an old person trying to get fixed to look young just looks creepy. But mostly it HURTS! Life’s painful enough people without voluntary needles and scalpels.

I have seen some grotesque faces that people have let happen to themselves. The natural aging process is good enough for me. Too scary to take a chance on something happening.

No. Plain and simple. I don't want it or need it. Aging is natural; and I accept that.

I think plastic surgery is a very personal thing. Not done so you look good to others but, so you look good to yourself.

No, I wouldn't. Other than maybe for the reason your mentioned but that might depend on the seriousness is the injury and other things.

I do too, to be honest. To feel that insecure is very sad indeed.

@celticeagle It really is. I try to let the kids I work with know that they're beautiful just as they are.

@TheHorse ........I think you are very gifted in what you do. I think it could only hurt what you and the facility is trying to do by having a person at the helm that is positive and good in her job.

Teeth is something I would do. The dark circles might be removed by other means.
