Another song-writer, Tom Springfield, died recently

I only found out recently that, on 27 July 2022, Tom Springfield died in London at the age of 88. Springfield was born Dionysius Patrick "Dion" O'Brien. He and younger sister, Mary O’Brien, became the Springfields with Mary taking the name Dusty Springfield, who later went on to forge a solo career. When the Springfields broke up in 1963, Tom became a record producer and songwriter for the Australian folk-pop group, the Seekers. Probably his best remembered songs from that time are I’ll Never Find Another You, A World of our Own and The Carnival is Over. Georgy Girl was co-written with Jim Dale, who supplied the lyrics. He also wrote a number of other well-known songs. The Seekers credited Springfield' songs with much of their success. Judith Durham, lead singer of the Seekers died on 5 August, 2022 only a few weeks after the death of Springfield. In 1977, he changed his name by deed poll to Tom Springfield. I searched myLot for any mention of him but it seems his death slipped under the radar, Photo is mine.
