We Split Up

August 28, 2022 11:56am CST
Hubby was at the Freedom Friendly March last Saturday, Melbourne. He had a friendly chat with this gutsy beautiful woman. And allowed him to take a picture of her. We split up for the day. I stayed home because my lower back was acting up again. Ah, well. Next time. It's always so encouraging to see, hear and observe people, families and children during peaceful rallies. What do you appreciate most in life?

I never see peaceful rallies here. I appreciate the memories. I could not survive without them. And the butterflies, bluebirds, and my cats.

@CarolDM Memories give me a sense of hope. I appreciate your stories of memories and furry friends you share on myLot. I can relate. I thought of you in prayer and another myLot friend this morning. So good to see you!

I'm totally thrilled that I am retired. It's wonderful not to be stressed about getting up in time to get ready for work or putting up with a boss who suffers constant PMS.

Nowadays, 'peaceful rallies' sounds like an oxymoron but I'm glad it stayed peaceful..
