I was going through my email and came across information from the dictionary. I was delighted to know that the term love language refers to how two people express love for each other and respond to it.
Did you know that there are five love languages?
- Acts of service refer to the actions you do to make your partner feel loved and appreciated.
- Presenting gifts, giving simple but meaningful gifts to your partner. Things you know they’ll appreciate.
- Quality time means how much time you spend with your partner where you two give each other your undivided attention.
- Word of affirmation giving your partner compliments and telling them how you really feel and care about them.
- Physical touch is the simple and caring things like kissing, hugging, and holding hands that make you both feel so good and loved.
The theory of love language is that relationships can be more successful if each person understands and focuses on the things their partner likes the most. Partners who really care for each other also might propose their own specific love languages beyond the traditional ones.

@CarolDM it is a lot of give and take and much understanding. I know that at the best of times it was like where Martin ended I began and then vice versa

Love language is different for each I think. The importance of each thing you listed may be different for each person.
