The lowest I saw on my way back here this afternoon was $3.71/gallon for regular. that is way down from the $5.01 peak that I saw several months ago. Not seeing anyone thanking Biden for that, though, even though his critics 100% blamed him when prices were rising.
Oh well. Not surprised.

That's because falling gas prices have nothing to do with what Biden did. I am not discounting it. I am simply stating a fact.
The reason gas prices went down is in part because of high inventory and low demand because people have cut back on driving to help counter the cost of their groceries and other essentials. Including their energy bills which have doubled.
In fact, ONE step Biden took, which was to drain the strategic reserves DID help drop prices just a little bit. But guess what...
We have to refill them, and when we do that the price will go back up because we did not change policy. We created a fix for something that was only broken when Biden reversed Trump's energy policy.

Why thank for something he can't control? When things go bad, it's easy to find someone else to blame, when it's just the nature of things. For the most part things are "normal" again and travel has back or was back to it's normal flow. That's going to play a role in pricing. Now school's back, less travel, oil prices are going to reflect it. It's a cycle some people fail to understand. Makes one think who slept through high school.
