As I have watched the events unfold over the last 5 or 6 years, of the democrats and a small group of republican haters fall over themselves going after Trump, I am reminded of those Roadrunner cartoons on Merry Melodies.
The comedy of it all is quite similar if you ask me.
No matter how much or how hard Wile E. Coyote tried to get that bird, the damage and destruction always wound up getting him while the bird just went on his merry way.
Beep, beep.
I am actually going to start examing the January 6th pictures a little closer to see if I can find any A.C.M.E. boxes in the background of democrat congressional offices.

Only in that so much time is being wasted pursuing a former president while the current president does his own work to accomplish nothing and make matters worse. The ONLY silver lining is that voters are paying attention and will make a better decision this next time around.

I used to love watching those Roadrunner cartoons when I was a kid! Your assessment that the democrats and Trump haters are acting exactly like Wile E. Coyote is pretty darn close to accurate. It'd be nice if those in power right now would just quit whining and crying about Trump and forget about him and just focus on fixing our country.

@moffittjc That's my thing. Trump IS the focus and the ONLY focus. If they had nothing to fear wouldn't they just ignore him?

That would definitely be a nice thing for them to do. It is so obvious they are TERRIFIED of him running again. But not for reasons they would ever admit. I think they are terrified many cats will be let out of the bag, and we would find out about a lot of things the democrats don't want us to know.

@porwest oh come on. There absolutely is stuff to find. They've found plenty. They stole from their fake charity. They had to shut down Trump University. He stole thousands of government documents. He tried his damnedest to interfere in the 2020 election certification. He witness tampered all over the place by dangling pardons. (which he has started up again with the Jan 6 people)

One knows, as hard as they have tried to go after him, clearly if there was anything of substance to any of it, that teflon would be wearing thin. But of course, there is nothing to find and so the story goes. But I applaud them (the left) for their effort. I think they might be better to keep the eggs on their plate rather than keep having them on their face. lol
