Preiti on the terrace - a memory

We have always kept the door to the terrace closed not being safe for Preiti as the parapet of the terrace is very low. But Preiti did manage to get to the forbidden terriory perhaps when the door was accidentally kept open. I remember searching for her and there she was. There was panic when we saw her there. Somehow we managed to get her back. Once one of our dogs Naaki was seen on the awning attached to the floor below. She had managed to get up to the terrace and jumped down there. Only luck helped us to get her back. Any such memories to share?

It can be hard sometimes to keep pets safe.

Pets wait for opportunities like the one Preiti got. They are smart (lol) We had a female who was agile and could jump over the gate. We raised the level of the gate by adding some design over the old gate. We also used the link chain extension over our stone walls right round the property

@allknowing If they are determined to get out it can be hard to stop them.

I hope these are all good memories, most of mine are good but on one occassion I can recall panicking when Gracie was suddenly gone, she had jumped the fence to go find someone to play with and being new to my area I had no idea where to look so I began to walk around the neighborhood and I was able to find her. It was such a relief.

With Preiti they were all good memories but we had a Bull Terrier and someone left the gate open and he went visiting The people where he visited were not ready for him and were about to hit him when one of our maids rushed there, lifted him and brought him. Lifting him was not easy as he was quite hefty for his breed It was quite distance (lol) Rana the Bull Terrier was a beautiful dog. He and our cat were the best of friends.
