Had a disturbing conversation with a relative yestereday

That was a tearful conversation this relative had with me pouring how unhappy she is with her husband. They have been married for years and from what I see she has countless blessings. Apparently she is not trained to look at her blessings.
I believe in looking at my blessings and so I could say I am a happy person. I believe that it is not how much we have but what we make of what we have is the route to happiness.
We used to sing this song while at school. I sent her this link and hopefully she will feel nice and change her ways.

Some people are always looking at their glass as half empty as others look at it as half full. I´m an optimist so I never think about my life as a half empty glass.

I belong there. I am forever in the attitude of gratitude. She is well off in life. Has never worked as her husband earned well. They have a 3 bedroom flat in the city, a couple of cars, 4 well placed kids highly educated and yet she has complaints against her husband.

@allknowing Well said and I agree. So many things we take for granted. Appreciation is one way to happiness.
