Italian Cookies as a a wedding Favor

We went to a lovely small wedding on Labor Day. Weather was beautiful, ceremony was outside and since the bride is Italian, the favors were bags of homemade Italian cookies! What a lovely idea and treat!

Oh I do love those cookies!! My Nana used make the Sicilian cookies (she was from the old country) RIP Nice wedding was it?

My husband is Sicilian and he grew up on these cookies. I love them too! I am Irish & Italian. The wedding was beautiful! Thank you

Was the bride family from Sicily? We do not have this cookies habit in the north. I think that also your family name is Sicilian.
