Where the Kingfisher Sits

Well... yes, it is just a big stick poking out of the River Colne, but after speaking to a chap walking his dogs, the other day, it turns out this is where a Kingfisher perches whilst waiting for tasty little fish to swim by.
Did not see one using it, that day, but I did see a Kingfisher whizz by, as well as an Emperor Dragonfly hawking for smaller wing insects to lunch on.
The place is fairly easy to find, so I will be staking it out and keeping watch, with a camera, for the little, elusive feathered fisherman. Hopefully this will be a stick with a tale to tell.

It looks a lovely little nook there.
It would be nice to see a Kingfisher sitting there.
