Here is a collage from today’s endurance ride at Baker's Hill in Western Australia. We’re home again now. We were able to get away early and now we’ll process the photos to try to make them as good as possible. These haven’t been processed as I was keen to post a discussion as soon as I could. I’ll have more photos later. The photo lower left shows a grandmother and her granddaughter leaving to ride twenty kilometres. There are quite a few family pairs or groups that ride together.
An interesting diversion was a helicopter which flew over the canola crop. Apparently, it is dropping baits for mice. They are worried about a mice plague once the crop ripens. It seems farmers are always contending with some catastrophe or other. I’ve never heard of them baiting crops for mice before.

I read an article a few months ago that this looks to be the worst plague of mice in the crops that your countrymen have seen in years. I believe they are dropping double strength baits this year.
The pictures look good without processing them, in my opinion.

@JudyEv Oh, well, the photos look good to me.
I remember about the baits being dropped by air because I was looking to see if rabbits were still being killed with poison but found the article about mice and read it instead.

@JudyEv Thats good. Some can get very nervous with something flying above them.

A mice plague would be really terrible as they would destroy the crops.

I hadn't heard that they were such a problem in the crops. The farmers would be worried about their profit margin.
