What I know about coyotes is that they are located in desert areas in North America. It amazes me that a coyote was seen in the city of Trenton Ohio that entered a house on Friday before dawn when the occupants of the home left the door open to load up an auto so they would travel for a road trip.
After a family member saw a coyote inside of the first floor bathroom, the family member call 911 to report the sighting of the coyote.
Police officers of the Trenton Police Department were able to remove the coyote who hid underneath the toilet and leave the home safe and sound to its own home in the woods.

The family that owns the home admitted that the coyote did enter through an open door while the family members moved outside to get their auto close to the home to go on a road trip.

@Deepizzaguy Goodness , after the coyote walked in through the open door they surely will keep the door closed.

@RubyHawk That is true but I guess the owner of the home never knew how to react seeing a coyote inside of a home before.

I believe that coyotes will not harm a human being if they left alone.

@Nakitakona I can only guess that coyotes seldom attack a human since it might their nature. But I could be wrong.

@Deepizzaguy Why do you say that? Are they not attacking people?

@Deepizzaguy The coyote surely got inside and went up the stairs to hide in a place he considered safe.

@LadyDuck Most likely what happened since coyotes need a warm place to stay.

The family who owns the home left the door open for a period of time so they could bring a car to the front door so they could pack their material to go to a road trip.

I would also be scared since a real life coyote is not to be messed with.

That's very good! Oahu stores sometimes have birds that visit inside. When I see it, I pray that the birds get safely brought out of the stores.

I do not know much about the behavior of coyotes if they are dangerous or not since they seldom make it to the news reports as harming anyone who confronts them.

@CarolDM That is true since any animal that is cornered will do what they will do anything to defend themselves.

I guess the owners of the home did not know that coyotes are present in their neighborhood. You are right that doors should be never be kept open even for a short period of time.

That is so strange, and glad he got removed safely. I guess if the family had already left and he still got in he would have been stuck in that house,

According to what happened the family members left the door open so they could get their auto close to the door to load their packages to go on a road trip for a period of at least one hour.

That is very true since animals these days are losing their homes in the name of progress.
