Thanks to the rescue work of Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) Deputy Koski who is a school rescue officer at Ponderosa High School on Thursday morning who answered an emergency call when a small fox was trapped in a soccer net on the school grounds.
Normally when a fox enters an open space of land and not does harm anyone, Deputy Koski would have no reason to intervene in the manner. Since the fox was trapped in the soccer net, Deputy Koski did do his duty to get the fox untangled from the soccer net.
The fox then left the soccer field to his home free as a bird. I am sure that Deputy Koski will simply say that he was just doing his duty to serve his community in Parker Colorado which is about 30 miles south of Denver.

I am sure that the deputy must have used his talents in working with a fox in the past.

@Deepizzaguy The deputy probably had experience. Still I would have thought a fox would bite.

@RubyHawk From the picture the deputy is using some protection like a blanket around his arms when he rescued the fox from the net.

I have heard of the term "Smart as a fox." Maybe the fox that was caught in the net is a young fox.

It is odd for a fox to be trapped in a net at a soccer field.

You are right since a fox deserves to run free in an open field.

It is better for any wildlife official to rescue an animal and let them go back home than ending their life.
