What's for dinner tonight? Some burritos. Yummy stuff, let me tell you, and I have not made these in a while. Just cooked up some ground beef in some taco seasoning, then took out the tortillas. I usually warm my tortilla in the microwave for a couple of seconds. Spoon slathered on some sour cream onto the tortilla like you'd spread pizza sauce onto a crust, then added the beef, some lettuce, some tomatoes and onions, shredded cheese, salsa, and a little extra sour cream for good measure. Can you have enough sour cream? Folded it all up and stuffed my face. What did you have for dinner last night?

Sounds good. I had noodles with peas and carrots and peanut butter pie for dessert.

@porwest Nothing more than a little salt. They went well with the peas and carrots.

Did you put anything on the noodles or just have them plain?

I had Mexican last night. Steak suizas. My girlfriend treated me to a nice dinner at a little local Mexican restaurant that is a favorite of ours.

@porwest Nothing wrong with combo platters. I order them myself more often than I care to admit.

Mexican is good, although I am not sure if I have had steak suizas before. Of course, I am plain Jane, so I always get one of those combo platters. lol

@moffittjc I like them, and besides, they are economical, and always filling. Plus, I tend to like to stick to mostly what I know, and the combo platters work well for me that way.

Oh my, I would love some good Mexican food! Still trying to baby my spoiled brat stomach for a while, but no, you can never have too much sour cream.

The more sour cream the merrier, and on more than just Mexican food, for sure.

I had a small frozen pizza. Your burritos sound good. I don't need to tell you every time that my portion would be sans onions!

@CarolDM We like to put it into soups, on baked potatoes, in a bowl of chili. We just love it.

Your meal is so inviting. It keeps myself salivating. My dinner is a piece of hard boiled egg and a cup of rice.

I make my burritos differently. I use flour tortillas like you do but I fill them with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, and seasoned ground beef. Your toppings are what I would put on hard-shell tacos.

I tend to make them many different ways, changing up ingredients. I don't really like hard shells, but I agree these would be common ingredients for them. I do like to use my tortilla forms to bake them into taco bowls though.

Honey chili potatoes? Never heard of that. I mean, I have heard of chili of course. But honey chili? That's a new one on me.
