It is not all you can eat in this resort.

In this other resort, there is a different way of having an all you can eat day. Instead of having a restaurant by the pool where they serve you the ribs if you want (or other dishes if they are in the menu), here some people bring the dishes and the food to the pool. And for $20 it is an "all you can put in your dish" day.
I definitly did not like it. There was lettuce that people mixed with gnocchi, fish, a not very interesting meat and mashed potatoes. The tourists filled their plates to the brim. There were some balls (looked as if they were either fish or white meat) that many put on top of it all.
I wonder. If you have enough money to fly from your country and pay for a resort, why feel so hungry so as to fill those disgusting dishes? At the Cabanna, on ribs day, we were given a decent amount of ribs with the side we had asked for. Before giving more ribs they took away the bones. And only at home would I save that for Luna
And I like my salad in a different dish than the main dish. Even when I have to wash the dishes.
How do you feel about this?

This food looked very disgusting in the way people served themselves.

There were different dishes but people could only eat for $20 all that a dish could hold. So the people placed one food over the other to get more food for the money. Disgusting.

@marguicha ohh I see well I actually would do the same depending on what it is. I’d put fries over Mac and cheese, or pizza on top of fries, or corn on potatoes etc. Just depends what the food was.

@shaggin For me, too, it depends on what the food is.

Sounds weird to me. Like a buffet style so you can pick what you like. And I do like my salad on a separate plate also.

@celticeagle It was. Here, at La Cabanna, they have the all you can eat ribs day but they serve you several times and take away the bones. And they gave you a salad first in a different dish.

It was a buffet style but you could only get one dish apparently. So the people placed one food over the other.

And too much food in the same dish takes my appetite away too.

@LadyDuck One of the things I like about this resort is that I can make my own food and there´s only this rib night when you can eat ribs but not pilad in your plate.

I don't like to pile food on top of each other but I understand why they did it, $20 for all the food they could get on their plate.
As far as the salad goes I have it both ways, on the same plate and sometimes in a separate bowl. I have no preference.

If they have the money to pay for expensive vacations, I think that they can spare another $20 to have 2 normal size dishes.

That sounds pretty disgusting. Food served in large quantities often suffers in quality.

We saved some chicken left overs from our dinner at the capital for our oets: Choey and Mameng for we were attending the countdown concert at the New Government Center to usher the week-long MassKara festival
