This morning, my husband reported he saw 79 in the van as he left for work. Lowest number yet. Today's high, 85. A far cry from 90. While the heat index still has it on the warm side, I am still happy to see the change all the same. It's just as good for me as anyone else I suppose. I have a small to-do list of housework to take, and I plan on doing so after I spend a little time here.

It's not quite comfortable enough for that. And, we don't want chilly clawing the screens, so we don't open windows where he's around.

@porwest I've had cats that've demolished the screens so bad my brother in law literally nailed most of our windows shut.

@kaylachan I always have the windows open when I can. I much prefer it. Luckily the cats don't claw the screens. I'd make chop suey out of them if they did. lol

It is, but sadly we will be going back to summer for much of next week...sigh. That's the thing, when it gets cool here, it never stays cool, except possibly in January. Even then there can be some warm days I saw a guy on bright sunny warmish January Day sitting by the pool.

Yes cooler is nice Kayla. It will be heating back up here real soon..this heat is not wanting to go.
