I'm planning on what I should eat and drink to have more fiber on my food. I am doing this to be more healthy and to relieve constipation. One thing I do now is adding mixed vegetables on my fried rice. I buy this frozen mixed vegetables of green peas, corn and carrots on groceries. I drink canned fruit juice with added fiber. And powder metamucil juice. That's the only thing I know so far that's easy to do and yet delicious. I'm still searching or learning other ways . I'm not a great cook so when i cook vegetable meal it doesn't taste great. That's why I don't always cook vegetables.

I like vegetables, not steamed as they are tasteless, but seared in a pan, grilled, baked in the oven they are good. Eat oat in the morning if you need more fibers.

Yes if it is tasteless i will not eat a lot. A bit of oil makes it taste better. I do eat oats before with milk and sugar. But now i avoid milk as it cause stomach problem. That's why i haven't eaten oat recently as it does not taste as good without milk

@hotsummer I agree, oat without milk is not good. Vegetables without oil, or a little butter, are not good.

@LadyDuck that's why it limits my choices. But then i can still eat oats with sugar only though i can only eat much less than I would if there's no milk

I think you are on the right track. All of these will dramatically increase your fiber intake. I tend to use a Benefiber supplement and put it in my water cup at work—I like it because it simply dissolves completely in the water and has no taste at all to it. But I get plenty of extra fiber this way.

It is good product then . The metamucil powder juice I drink is too sweet. Though taste good , i prefer not too sweet or no sugar at all

@hotsummer Yeah. Plus, if it is the same flavor all the time you get tired of it. I can put Benefiber in my water, in my coffee, and even in a bowl of soup if I want and you don't even know it is there.
