Friday afternoon, I went to the medical clinic and got some blood drawn for a few more tests that the doctor wanted for me to have done. I guess I had some high readings on some of the bloodwork when I had my checkup in August. I have an appointment with the doctor on the 23rd to discuss all that. I went to the grocery store and got a few nice-sized potatoes, a small container of sour cream, and a few other things. I finished up my Grandson's blanket. I just need to weave in the loose ends. I watched a series on hulu. It's called The Cars That Built America. Of course, Ford, Chevrolet, and Pontiac cars were featured. Also, Lee Iacocca retired at the top while John DeLorean had a great fall. I finally learned what GTO means: Gran Turismo Omologato. Never knew that! I also watched a part of a series called The Food That Made America. Heinz. Kellogg's. Post. Birdseye. Pizza Hut. Domino's. McDonald's. Another series was about some candy manufacturer's: Hershey. Mars. Nestle. Anyway, I've been watching so many of these series one right after the other until they are all blending together. For lunch and supper today, I nuked one of the potatoes, cut it in two, kinda chopped it up and topped it with chili w/beans and sour cream. It was yummy both times. (Note: I had half for lunch and the other half for supper.) I knitted a heel into one sock of the pair that I just finished making. I have the second sock to knit the heel into. Then I will be finished with that pair so I can give them to a lady in my knit group. She has a donation box at her work. Early this evening, I watched a Christmas movie that starred Linda Hamilton. It was ok. She was married. Her husband cheated on her. They divorced. She ended up living in her car. yada yada. blah blah blah. and at the end she passed her real estate licensing exam!

I used to do a lot of crochet and I still do some but the worst part is always sewing in the loose ends.

I can give you two good science channels you might like to watch. One is called SciShow and they have a daily video that deals with something in the real world that is interesting. The other is PBS Eons and deals mostly with prehistoric things that I find interesting. https://www.youtube.com/c/eons
SciShow explores the unexpected. Seven days a week Michael Aranda, Rose Bear Don't Walk, Stefan Chin, and Hank Green delve into the scientific subjects that defy our expectations and make us even more curious! Schedule: Sundays - Learn about the amazing to
