74-76 Marine Rd W, Morecambe LA4 4EP A Cellar level public bar connected to The Clarence Hotel, approached down a flight of steep steps so not too great for the disabled and infirm. Pleasant enough bar once in, with a music system turning through Elton John’s greatest hits and sound muted sports screens. Doom Bar and other safe basic entry level cask ales though the no dogs allowed policy is a points detractor, especially in a pub not serving food. Interesting art on the walls including painted porthole window roundels painted in bright nautical imagery in a pub that wou;ld otherwise look like a political party social club c.1984. Sounds like an interesting place to visit. If not just for the ambiance it sounds like the place has.

Sound like some interesting pubs. People wouldn't think of bringing dogs into bars here, but if it is an outdoor setting that might make an appearance. Alot of restaurant/ bars have outdoor seating here.
