Venue Review - Johnny’s Warehouse Bar and Events Venue - Morecambe

A keynote performance space, set back slightly from the main promenade, with staging areas, a pool table and dance board, and side entrance/exit to the amusement arcade and bowling alley next door. The bar sadly lacks real ales, and though they have a great pizza menu (usually brought in from the cafe next door), they don’t seem to promote it too much. I was there over three nights before I learned the menu even existed. You are allowed to bring some food in yourself too.
As a performance platform, Johnny's is outstanding.

@LadyDuck quite a few bars allow you to bring food in if they don't do it themselves but more unusual when they do have a food service

@arthurchappell I remember that we brought food in at the bar of the New York airport, as they did not serve food and I do not like to have a cocktail without something to eat.

Wonder why they don't promote it more. Sounds like a good place to go. Word of mouth can do a lot. Maybe they feel that is good enough.

@celticeagle They promote the venue, just not that they do food - as a performance space it is exceptional

It's highly unusual for any such venue to allow you to bring in food! They should promote their pizza more.
