2 days no internet, no water

My Internet provider had just repaired a damaged link. Many suffered for no Internet connection for 2 days. The feeling is undescribable. I just loaded my cellular phone for a data plan for my online classes. I just hold a virtual class good for 45 minutes afraid my load gets low. The other struggle is water outage that seems forever. I pity my elder sister. She wakes up at 2 in the morning just to stock water. At 5 in the morning up to late evening water zero drop. We been experiencing this problem for almost two years now.Do you also have the same problem as ours? I guessed not. Image credit to Facebook gif. Thanks for reading sharing is caring.

That's so inconvenient. Fortunately so far it is OK here, but I just don't like the stupid and crazy Covid-test.

I hate it when the internet goes off, it can be so very frustrating. We usually store water in tanks, because you never can tell when a broken main or weather system can cause it to go off.

@Kandae11 we always store water in big drums with cover but they won't last for weeks. They're good until 3 days because of washing and watering.

No Internet connection might be intolerable, especially if you depend on it for your job. The absence of water in the house, however, would be significantly worse. Given that water is a component of everything, this is considerably more crucial. from cleaning, washing, cooking, and drinking. Having a consistent supply of water is so essential.

@cacay1 I do not know as well but it may be that water may becoming scarce in your place. Here in Manila we do experience some shortage during summer time when the dams are low and no rains are coming to replenish them.

@rsa101 , there's no proper explanation why there's always water interruption. Other places don't have water interruption. The city government approved the request of the people to privitize the water district but worst scenario doubles. Before people here seldom experienced water interruption but this time almost everyday from 5 AM to 2 AM.

@sjvg1976, we suffer like this water outage more than 2 years now. Water district poorly man's the system. It's turnover to private agencies thinking service is better but it's better the city government to man than private. The MOA is good for 10 years, so after 10 years it will be the city government to handle the city water district.

My gosh, no. We're living in a drought situation, and we've got to conserve. Navy had fuel spill into water system, which all elected watching and trying to close Red Hill, water shed where it happened. I'm not affected, by Red Hill spillage. There is Global Foodbanks, and water should be on their list to give. Hope situation betters. Is water situation because of storm?

@cacay1 That's, very harsh in skin. There is, no water cleansing spray in soap, but need warm water to wipe off. Government must have water system built for residents. United Nations should be able to help your country, if your country member. Water is a necessity, must have it. You're so pitiful!

It's definitely not a pleasant thing to have to deal with. Last week, we had no power for the entire day, which meant no shower, no use of stove and such, no internet (had to use data). And it wasn't easy. It must have been really difficult to not have it for two days.

@dodo19, yes so difficult if we can't connect especially on my case teaching online. Students were wondering and felt hanging for they got no reply from me. There's no load sold nearby so I can't use a data plan. It's indeed frustrating.

@Sojourn, people complained already. The city water district is managed by private agency and the MOA takes effect for 10 years before it will be managed back by the city government. The citizens thought it's privitized, so good service but ironical.

@cacay1 Privatisation should have mobilised these things quickly , but it seems the case is just the opposite here. Maybe a big corruption is going on which the citizens are not aware of.
