My Morning Thoughts

I just am having a huge piece of banana nut bread, microwaved and with a slithering of butter on it. A nice piping hot cup of coffee too. I need to get in and have my annual check-up now that I can actually go to the doctor's office. It has been about three years since I have had blood drawn and gotten all of the usual info on how this old body is doing. I feel good though so it can't be that bad. I admit to being lazy. I don't want to get dressed and go out and wait for the Uber to come to take me to the doctor's office just down the way on the way into town. (It's not that far but I sure couldn't walk it) And, I don't want to interact with people. I like my doctor. She is always so nice and informative. I feel lucky to have her since I hear of many people who don't have that great of medical care. Hope you all have a great day.

My doctors usually require one visit a year for blood work and sometimes more often.

Mine does too. But, due to COVID, it's been about three years for me. I need to get in. Have had two or three visits with my doctor online but that is all.

I miss our family doctor who is very friendly and is well-loved by his patients. We're sorry for he passed away untimely.

Sorry to hear that. I had a great older doctor. He was always so stern and businesslike. I jumped with joy when once I made him smile. He is long past. But, I am lucky to have my doctor now. She is great.

Yes, make the appointments for my daughter and my grandson. That will be in February.

My doctor wouldn't renew my prescriptions unless I see her every 6 months. I hope you schedule an appointment soon.

That's pretty normal. My daughter and grandson are both seen monthly regarding their meds.

I am currently shopping for a new primary care physician. Mine moved away, and the one before that, retired. It's so hard to find one to feel comfortable with and to trust. You are lucky to have one that you like.
