I have to recover the data

recover data

Last night my computer was frozen suddenly and I had to reset it. After that, a 4T hard disk was not available. I think it is better not to touch it as it will be easier to recover the data. I haven't an extra hard disk so big and therefore I bought one today. Tomorrow afternoon my husband will be home, I will ask him to setup the new hard disk so that I can recover the data. It is a frustrating and long process and I hope everything will go well. I have to be patient anyway.

Thank you! In fact in the past I also met the similar cases and I all recovered the data. So this time I am not so panic. It will just take some time.

I wish good luck, disconnect the HD with the problem and only reconnect once the new Hard Disk is installed and recognized.

I need the new hard disk as I have to recover and then restore it from the bad hard disk. The data needs a new place to store.

@youless My husband is copying right now the data from an old Hard Disk that looks a bit "tired".

Even a cloud can't be reliable. I hope one day there will be a new way to store the data safe for quite a long time.

The computer works but something wrong with my hard disk. I am a person who doesn't like to have problems, so I don't feel well when it is not fixed yet
