The Vampire Chronicles are Back

On October 2nd the AMC channel will start a series called "Interview with the Vampire". I have seen several trailers and am not thinking much of the actors they have chosen. But, I will watch a few of the episodes and see what I think.
Anne Rice wrote the Vampire Chronicles series and I have read them all. It is a very good story and I wonder how well they will do this series. The original movie back in 2011 was pretty good even though I cannot stand Tom Cruise.

I loved the books as they came out and couldn't wait for the next one in the series. I've bought them all since then but have never seen the movies.

I did too. Was sad when it came to an end. I enjoyed the Lestat character.

That's cool I like good vampire shows. I love anything vampire because about immortality and power the two most things many love. Hell I could even be rich if I was born around the time of Christ. 
. They have a new one vampire academy do not watch, soap opera and not even funny. There is a funny one they made. What we do in the shadows, people say that is funny.
I am with you on Tom Cruise great actor but has no clue how life really works with his beliefs. I do not say that lightly but his greatness seems to cause him harm in not being realistically rational. Meaning if the world fell apart he would not survive because he has this fake belief.

I am a big vamp fan. I like ones that are realistic and animalistic. Vampire Academy sounds hokey to me. I don't really care for the young adult ones.
Yes, I think Tom Cruise is a joke as a human being much less as a vamp. He is a big Scientologist.

I haven't watched vampire movies anymore. The last movie I watched is The Twilight Zone. It's a TV series.
