First time my internet provider got lost

This is the first time in a long time that my internet provider has gone offline. My work was in progress when their signal abruptly stopped. I've grown accustomed to them returning in a few seconds or minutes, but this time they didn't. I reset the modem by turning it on and off, but it is still not receiving a signal. Since the previous months had been relatively uneventful, I came to understand that they are in serious jeopardy. When I called their customer service, I discovered that nobody was available to speak with. Your call will be answered and received entirely automatically by AI. I'll just have to wait for their call or text, then.

I often experience the same thing, Usually there are technical problems from the providers, but it's also possible that the router has a problem. I've had router problems and had to get a technical visit.

Looks like that but I am happy to inform you I am back now since they have already restored it. I just received text message that the service has been restored and it was. That was fast enough for them to do it in less than 24 hours since my report with them. For that I am impressed by the swiftness of their technical team.

@sickly09 This time I am quite impressed and upon checking my speed also improved since my plan is just this speed but it has exceeded so far so I am a happy subscriber.

It is, and I'm glad they completed it in under 24 hours. They just texted me to say that everything is okay and that it has been restored. Was pleased with the quick response they offered. For a little period of time in the morning while they were correcting it, I experienced some inconvenience.

We have been using the C for more than one year, everything was okay for one year. Until two months ago when they had their maintenance, we are experiencing no connection after the maintenance. August was a lowlight for them and lots of angry subscribers ranted on fb page. Hope your connection is stable now.

Mine was restored in less than 24 hours and I am quite impressed with them for now since my previous provider was not as fast as this one.

@jobelbojel I think back to the days when rains were frequent in our place, they got affected by it somehow. That is why the problem was not only mine but many others in the neighborhood. That is why they repaired the cause of the problem and everyone got resolved all at once.

Unfortunately it has not returned. This is the first time I encountered this from them. I still am using my cp data to connect right now which is rather slow.

@DaddyEvil It is fixed already. I just received a text message that it is restored now so I checked my modem and it is already working back to normal. Thank goodness I was preparing to go to my workplace so I can continue with my work but then they informed me that I have it already so no need to leave anymore.

@RubyHawk Are there any competitors around your place offering the same service? I guess if they are the ones available in your area, they can really dictate the rates they want since there are no competitors around. In my place, there are at least 3 or 4 that are competing which is why their prices are almost the same and you would just look into the service they provide.

I am quite happy that they restored it back in less than 24 hours. I just received that it has been fixed already and they did that in less than 24 hours. I guess that is the fastest service I have so I think I won't switch anytime soon.

I am using Globe at the moment. Very unlikely from them to having this long cut. I hope they can repair it today. I am using my CP data signal which is at many times intermittent in my place.

It has passed 8 hours and still no connection. Good thing I have an internet connection via my CP. Though it is much slower and intermittent I can do some minor things.

I guess it has been restored less than 24 hours ago. I should commend them for doing quick action on my issue. I was afraid that it may take several days before it will be given time but they did it in less than 24 hours. That is something they should be proud of.

@sol_cee I even wasn't able to talk to a real live person on their phone. Everything was answered and attended to by an AI so I have no way to vent my frustrations over the phone since I was not able to talk to a real live Customer Service personnel.

Maybe they're affected with the bad weather. Just like at home when there's bad weather Internet signal disappeared.

I guess so there were several incidences where cables were caught by moving vehicles and drag cables on the road.

My friends had the same problem but with a different provider, that is Converge. I hope your connection has been restored. We use Globe at Home too. We get intermittent connection when there are strong winds.

I am happy to inform you that they have restored the connection already and just informed me via text that it was restored already. I am impressed that they were fast in restoring their service and I do not need to followup anymore after I reported it to them.
