A man who climbed up a tree with the intention of preparing a tree to have to be cut by cutting off the branches when his rope and climbing cleats did not work for him.
The name of the man who was trapped up in the tree was not mentioned. I am sure he used his cellphone to call 911 to ask for help.
The Galax Virginia Fire Department firefighters as well as two local businesses assisted the firefighters come to the rescue by having one of the businessmen using a bucket truck to get the man off of the tree which was about 50 feet above the ground to a safe place. A light from the construction truck was used to execute the mission as well.
The firefighters used a rope to save the man trapped in the tree while Ramey Construction used a 75 foot bucket truck to rescue the man since the bucket truck that the fire truck bucket was not tall enough to execute the rescue mission.

That is very true since tree cutters have to deal with the tools of the trade as well as working on high places above the ground.

@RubyHawk I would not take on that job at all due to the height factor.

The tree cutter was wearing special boots and he had the ropes attached to his work equipment on him when he got caught in the tree.

You are right since persons who work cutting trees do hard work that not many of us are willing to do.

I am with you since being stuck 50 feet off the ground is scary for anyone of us.
